When technical problems knocked out the sound in the room after just a few songs, the D.J., Amrit Singh of the indie-rock blog Stereogum (stereogum.com), began playing Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams,” while Ms. Estella and Mr. Cardona sang along, taking the indignity in stride. At the end of the show, after “Lady Daydream,” Mr. Singh played the song again, and while the rest of the band walked off stage, Ms. Estella swayed and sang along. “You should all stay ’cause I want to dance,” she said. “We’re going to make it so much hotter in here.

Twin Sister’s excellent album-release show at Glasslands 5/27. Eventually we did turn it into a dance party — thanks to those who came and kept the floor going ‘til 4AM. Also, thanks to Fleetwood Mac for making memories from a fuse blown by a badly needed (and badly wired) air conditioner.
